Felt pretty good during warmup and no ill effects from yesterday’s WO, so I decided to go as heavy as I could. Started incline with 85#DB’s for 2 good sets and dropped to 80#’s for the 3rd and 4th sets. I would’ve liked to stick with 85’s for 4 sets, but getting them into place is hell on my R shoulder. I feel I’m plenty strong for the weight, but the shoulder just doesn’t like the heavy DB’s when getting them up from a real low position. Still very pleased with these. Supersetted incline with heavy pulldowns. Next we did shoulder press with bent over rows. I started shoulder press with 55#DB’s for the first set, but I felt pain in my R shoulder so I dropped to 50’s for the last 2 sets. BOR’s were good - 2 underhand sets, 1 overhand.
Next we did heavy DB triceps extensions for 2 sets, plus a back-off set, combined with a set of EZ bar curls and hammer curls. Then we did chest fly with heavy rear delt work. Finished up with chest raises and weighted crunches. Very good WO. Hard work.
Weight:
I weighed 175.4 this morning, up from 171 yesterday. Continue refeed today and back to dieting Monday.
